Peru is located entirely in the tropics but the Climate is very diverse but can be considered in 3  major areas, the arid coastal desert, the cool Andean highlands and the hot/humid rainforest.

Packing:  
Versatile layered clothing and the ability to make quick additions for rapid climate changes.  Warm gloves, hat etc for high altitudes and waterproof outerlayers.
