Zanzibar is actually a province on the island of Unguja 23 kilometers off the east coast of Tanzania.
Famous for its historical World Heritage Stone Town with its swahili and islamic influences and the birthplace of Freddy Mercury. Surrounded by beaches it is a great place for a relaxing break.
Check out the House of Wonders (a former Sultans Palace) and walk along the waterfront.
